Entry 16: Artemis Lives

 This week, I have created artemis, with the generated from the various sketches both digital and hand drawn.

I feel that this character gives a unique appeal to the goddess because from the research into existing ideas, I found various e.g. wings from a steam punk ideal that to me seemed interesting.

This is the basic colourt scheme that has been allocated to this design but Artemis' appearance is different to its counterparts.


 In my level, I have added my own static meshes (without collision) like you see in the screenshot.
Its of the basement wihich has an extention to a cell, with the capsuals that I have added a defuse texture with a button.

Entry 15: Building Character

 This week, I have extended the size of the basement area, as well as adding a new package with new assets that are applicable to the story line.

As you see the image show that I have added a gate , including various materials e.g. doors, a new window frame that I will apply a transparent material to produce glass.

I have researched into the possible use of females within anime, that has give me a concept that reflects the personality of artimis and the genre:

  • a mage  
  •  the face of a deer
  •  a mask with antlers
  • The use of a bow and arrows

Entry 14 - Tablet creations

 
This week, I have chosen to use Artemis as a character that I would like to use because , I find that It will be a challenge, due to the fact that I have created a female character.                 Therefore, I  have created alternative versions of the Artimus including selected styles, that have a unique appeal within the appearance.

My level has been updated with textures available on UDK , as you see there are some untextured parts, this is a guide for me to add my own custom design upon them.
